Build Positive Intelligence
for Mom Writers

Reach your goals. Develop a daily writing habit.

Increase your joy and resiliency!

Reduce your stress and overwhelm with mental fitness.

What is Positive Intelligence?

Positive Intelligence is a course that helps you build your positive intelligence quotient (PQ). Think of Positive Intelligence as a gym for your mind!

Have you ever noticed how the same negative thought patterns come up over and over again?

Have you tried to stop people pleasing? Does your family say that you are too controlling? Do you worry way more than your friends and colleagues?

Default behaviors keep us stuck where we are. But it doesn't have to be like that.

You can increase your PQ and change your life.

Positive Intelligence increases your ability to respond to life's challenges with a positive rather than a negative mindset.

When you're out of shape physically, you get winded climbing a flight of steps. When your PQ is low, you feel mental stress, such as anxiety, frustration, and unhappiness. This means that you yell at the kids, get frustrated with your partner, and fail to deliver on key projects at work. It also means you don't show up to write!

Here's the Good News: Neuroscience has shown that you can improve your mental fitness with practice

How does this Positive Intelligence program help?

This program teaches you how to build powerful habits for a more positive mind. If you want to make a positive change in your life, willpower is not enough to get you there. Neither is simply trying. Sustained change requires you to create new neural pathways and form new habits.

This requires daily practice.

The program teaches you to:

  • Train your mind to quiet the negativity (including your inner critic)

  • Identify your own voice, learn to listen to the wisdom inside of you, and trust your intuition

  • Be still and more present

What's included in the Positive Intelligence program?
  • Daily Practice in the powerful Positive Intelligence® (PQ) App to build your mental muscles (neural pathways). These exercises are bite-sized to fit your busy schedule and customized based on how you tend to self-sabotage.

  • Weekly 1-hour long videos delivered by Positive Intelligence®.

  • Weekly course coaching sessions with Jen.

 The science behind Positive Intelligence

You shouldn't have to get a Ph.D. in Psychology to improve your mental wellbeing. This mental fitness program, from Positive Intelligence (PQ), makes it easy by bringing together the most current research in Neuroscience, Performance Science, Cognitive Behavioral Psychology, and Positive Psychology.

It takes that research and distills it into 10 negative response factors (10 Saboteurs) and 5 positive response factors (5 Sage powers).

Think of the Saboteurs as your negative inner voices. They exist in the brainstem, limbic system, and parts of the left brain. They produce much of your stress, anxiety, self-doubt, anger, shame, guilt, frustration, and mind chatter. These negative emotions are only helpful for a second as they alert you to dangers or issues. However, staying in these emotions impedes your ability to see clearly and choose the most impactful response.

Meanwhile, our inner Sage lives in an entirely different part of your brain, the middle prefrontal cortex, and parts of the right brain. Your Sage generates positive emotions, such as empathy, gratitude, curiosity, and joy. The Sage helps us to take calm, clear-headed, focused action, no matter what life throws our way.

This program teaches you how to decrease the power of your personal Saboteurs, while at the same time, growing your 5 Sage powers.
