What is Mental Fitness?
Mental fitness is the ability to respond to life's challenges with a positive rather than a negative mindset.
When you're out of shape physically, you get winded climbing a flight of steps. When you are not mentally fit, you feel mental stress, such as anxiety, frustration, and unhappiness. This means that you yell at the kids, get frustrated with your partner, and fail to deliver on key projects at work.

This program teaches you how to build powerful habits for a more positive mind. If you want to make a positive change in your life, willpower is not enough to get you there. Neither is simply trying. Sustained change requires you to create new neural pathways and form new habits.

You shouldn't have to get a Ph.D. in Psychology to improve your mental wellbeing. This mental fitness program, from Positive Intelligence (PQ), makes it easy by bringing together the most current research in Neuroscience, Performance Science, Cognitive Behavioral Psychology, and Positive Psychology.

It takes that research and distills it into 10 negative response factors (10 Saboteurs) and 5 positive response factors (5 Sage powers).

Think of the Saboteurs as your negative inner voices. They exist in the brainstem, limbic system, and parts of the left brain. They produce much of your stress, anxiety, self-doubt, anger, shame, guilt, frustration, and mind chatter. These negative emotions are only helpful for a second as they alert you to dangers or issues. However, staying in these emotions impedes your ability to see clearly and choose the most impactful response.​

Meanwhile, our inner Sage lives in an entirely different part of your brain, the middle prefrontal cortex, and parts of the right brain. Your Sage generates positive emotions, such as empathy, gratitude, curiosity, and joy. The Sage helps us to take calm, clear-headed, focused action, no matter what life throws our way.
